GovInfo and Congress.gov host the introduced text of H. Res. 818, 119th Congress: “Impeaching Deborah Boardman, Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, for high crimes and misdemeanors.” Introduced October 17, 2025, by Mr. Roy (for himself, Mr. Brecheen, Mrs. Luna, Mr. Higgins of Louisiana, Mr. Babin, and Mrs. Miller of Illinois). Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

Congress.gov tracker status is Introduced. Latest action the same day: referred to Judiciary. There is one article. Its caption is “Willful and Systemic Refusal to Comply with the Law.” The article’s own wherefore clause says she “is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors” and “should be removed from office.” That is the resolution speaking. It is not a finding by this site and not a finding by a court. This file will not write “IMPEACHED.”

Read the PDF before you guess the predicate. Article I is not the CASA injunction. Article I recites the October 3, 2025, sentence in United States v. Roske. The birthright-citizenship orders live on different posts. Do not treat the articles as the docket, and do not treat the docket as a conviction.

Roy’s office statement, reprinted by Texas GOP Vote and quoted by Daily Wire, used the words “absurd 8-year sentence” and said she “should be impeached swiftly and without reservation.” Those words are his. They are not a House roll-call. Daily Wire reported the filing. The Federalist later reported Senator Cruz urging Speaker Johnson to move the pending articles. Reporting a filing is not a vote.
